Lens clouds have time and time again been mistaken for UFO’s because they have a saucer-like shape. Since these clouds are so rare, they often cause intrigue and suspicion. Not to burst any bubbles, but if you think you’ve seen a flying saucer in the distance, it may have just been a lens cloud.
