Lightning and tornadoes are like fire and gasoline. Scientists are just starting to study this odd relationship as lightning can act as major fuel to tornadoes. Lightning involved in tornadoes never actually touches the ground. This lightning stays air bound, adding to the storm. While it is very dangerous, the site is pretty incredible.
